Hello Church Family,
Vacation Bibile School for the St. Luke Community United Methodist Church – South Campus begins tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. The focus for this year’s VBS is called “Island Odyssey: To the Ends of the Earth with Jesus Christ”. This Bible and Arts program provides opportunity for persons of all ages to know Jesus and enhance our desire to spread the Gospel in the community and throughout the world. The three night study will focus on: 1) Hearing the Right Voice (Acts 13:4-12): 2): Going the Right Way (Acts 27:9-22, 26): and Being True to Who You Are (Acts 28:1-10). We are expecting God to show up during our time together as we experience how God is leading us to share the Good News everywhere we “GO”. The nightly schedule includes:
6:00 p.m. – 6:20 p.m. Lite Dinner
6:25 p.m. – 6:40 p.m. Devotion - Welcome/Prayer; Interactive Video/Music; Bible Review/Memory Verse
6:45 p.m. – 7:30 p.m. Classes- Children, Youth and Teens 7:35 p.m.-8:15 p.m. Arts/Crafts (3-8);Hertigage/Drama (9-17)
6:50 p.m. – 8:15 p.m. Classes for Young Adults and Adults
8:20 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. Closing Song and Prayer
Well, enough has been said, now it is time to prepare our hearts in minds for what God is getting ready to do in the life of the Church, that is ready and eager to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the World.
