Team,
Praying each of you are enjoying a great week. Well, we are getting ready to kick this weekend off with a double dose of excitement down south. New Year’s Eve is tomorrow and we will be in worship at 7 p.m. for an hour of praise and worship, testimonies and of course a word from the Lord. Then we will be back in worship on New Year’s Day for yet another powerful hour of worship at 10 a.m. We already know how it goes down on Sunday. Also, this will be our first Sunday as “The Village” and I guarantee we will not want to miss this historical moment in the life of the church. As a matter of fact, I am calling each of us to faithfully support “The Village,” a ministry that God has entrusted into our hands to do great things thru the prayers, presence, gifts, service and witness of you and myself.
As we prepare for this weekend, first on New Year’s Eve, I want us to be thinking about the following thought; “A New Year’s Attitude!” The scriptural foundation for this message will come from Philippians 1:27-2:1-5.
Then on Sunday New Year’s Day, let us all be thinking about the following thought; “Can We Manage God’s Estate?” The scriptural foundation for this sermon will come from Luke 12:41-48.
Be thinking about both sermons and take some time to meditate on the texts let us all be ready for this weekend.
Also, make sure to invite someone you know to come and experience a great and powerful weekend.
